Book Expo 2013

Another year, another BEA. I snagged a lot of swag and met a lot of amazing authors. This year's highlights were:

Tahereh Mafi at BEA13

• Hearing Rick Riordan speak at the Children's Author Breakfast. I have never laughed so hard that early in the morning.
• Meeting Alethea Kontis. She is such a lovely person and I cannot wait to read her books.
• Telling Cassandra Clare that I dressed up as Isabelle for Halloween.
• Running into old roommates, Madam Pince fans, Harry Potter friends, and old colleagues.
• Making new friends on long lines.
• Tahereh Mafi's outfit. 
• New Harry Potter illustrations!
• Getting to tell Ally Carter how much I love her books... and maybe if she sees this she can send me UNITED WE SPY so I can read it before anyone else and that would make my life... but probably not. I'll just wait until September.

While I'll not get to read the end of The Gallagher Girls series before everyone else, I will be able to read some other fantastic books before the general public... and so will you! If you would like a chance to win this years BEA SWAG BAG, here's what you have to do.
