A Nerdy Summer in New York
New York City is home to a lot of nerds. It is also a great nerdy tourist destination. So, whether you live here, or plan to visit here during the summer months, there are countless nerdy things to do. Here are some of my favorites! Which ones are you planning on attending?

JUNE
Figment - It's fun, and free, and beautiful! I always make sure to get to Governor's Island for this one!
Coney Island Mermaid Parade - Did this for the first time last year. Forget watching the parade, march in it!
Jazz Age Lawn Party - I have not had a chance to make it to this yet, but my goodness, doesn't it look FABULOUS?
Museum Mile Festival - This is so much fun. Not only are all the 5th Avenue museums free, there is a SERIOUS block party out side.
JULY
Manhattan Henge - It gets crazy crowded, but it's worth it!
Go West Young Wizards - What's a summer in NYC without Wizard Rock?
AUGUST
Fringe Festival - A New York City summer staple. Try and get to at least one show.
New York Renaissance Faire - A bit of a trip outside of NYC, but worth it! I go every year.
